Executive Leadership

Chih-Han Yu
Chief Executive Officer / Co-founder

Yu leads Appier’s product development and business teams, building AI to make cross screen easy for clients. He worked on iconic AI projects such as Stanford’s DARPA Challenge self-driving car and Little Dog before leaving academia.

Winnie Lee
Chief Operating Officer / Co-founder

Lee is responsible for building, growing and scaling Appier’s operations across 14 markets in Asia while helping to drive the company’s business strategy.

Joe Su
Chief Technology Officer / Co-founder

Su joined Appier as a founding member. A nationally ranked programmer in high school, he brings with him a lifelong passion for hacking and systems engineering.

Hsuan-Tien Lin
Chief Data Science Consultant

A beloved figure in Asia’s artificial intelligence community, Lin oversees Appier’s AI team. He joins Appier from National Taiwan University, where he served as Associate Professor of Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering.

Min Sun
Chief AI Scientist

Sun has worked under some of the most influential AI leaders, including Andrew Ng, Fei-Fei Li and Silvio Savarese. His areas of expertise are computer vision, natural language processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. Sun joined Appier along with his continuous tenure at National Tsing Hua University where he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Shou-De Lin
Chief ML Scientist

Dr. Shou-De Lin is an internationally recognized machine learning expert with more than 20 years of experience in AI, knowledge discovery and natural language processing. He has advised more than 50 global companies in the research and application of AI and has led the NTU team to win six championships of the industry well-known ACM KDD Cup. SD joined Appier from National Taiwan University where he serves as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering.
